My mission
Capturing memories and telling your stories is my favourite thing to do. I've always been sentimental and I want my drawings to evoke nostalgia, create happy memories, and bring joy to your homes.
Lifetime of design
As a mother of twins and a seasoned professional in various creative industries, including family photography, galleries, management, and interior and exterior design, I bring a wealth of experience and expertise to my art. With a background in art history and visual culture, as well as attending art college in North Wales, I have honed my skills and developed a deep understanding of the artistic process.
Journey to my world
My journey in the art world began when I left home at the age of 16 to pursue my dreams. I moved to Wales and worked on holiday camps by the sea, immersing myself in the natural beauty that surrounded me. This experience fuelled my passion for capturing the essence of landscapes and nature in my artwork.
After settling in Sheffield, where I got married and started a family, my husband and I built multiple businesses together. However, my love for art remained constant, and I decided to establish Artsy Amy Illustrates in 2024 in Chesterfield.

After project managing the full design of our holiday let, I was asked to make a floorplan for a friend. That's where the intricate details began and I started experimenting with mixed media, and illustrative design. Crafting each piece from layers of paper textures and metallic leaf, from canvas to screen, and encapsulated in print.
